The Architecture Of This Historic Restaurant In North Carolina Will Astound You Just As Much As The Menu
There’s no need to wait for a special occasion to enjoy the elegance of the Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern in North Carolina’s Capital City. This 1879 home (a mansion in its day) was built for the Mayor of Raleigh, William H. Dodd. Dodd would later sell the house to the Hinsdale family who kept the home in the family until 1971.
Second Empire Restaurant & Tavern is open Tuesday through Saturday. The hours are Tuesday – Thursday from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., Friday/Saturday from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. Learn more on the official website and follow the Facebook page here.
