Destination SunFest takes place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 13, 2019. To preserve the integrity of the park, no parking will be available on the campus; however, FREE parking is available at NC State Centennial Campus with a FREE shuttle that drops you at the park. The lots are close enough that you could also walk, if you prefer. The free lots are accessible via Centennial Parkway (via Lake Wheeler Road and I-40, or Avent Ferry Road). All rides and activities at Destination SunFest are free. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and even food and non-alcoholic drinks, but pets must stay home.
