This Epic Snow Tubing Hill In New York Will Give You The Winter Thrill Of A Lifetime
Now that it’s December, New York residents are more frequently waking up to snow outside. In regions like Wester New York and up in the Adirondacks, New Yorkers are already decked out in their snow gear and diving into the fresh scenery outside. So if you’ve been itching to slide your way through the snow, then you’ll want to visit this one destination out in Oneida County that’s full of adventure.
Inside the small town of Westernville, the Woods Valley Ski Area is where you can find an epic snow tubing spot.
Giving New York residents a place to find adventure during the winter since 1964, this outdoor destination is great for the entire family.
While some people come here to take advantage of the various ski trails, it's the area's Tubing Park that we can't get enough of.
With the purchase of your ticket, the ski area provides visitors with the perfect tubes to go flying down their hills with.
Maintaining 600-foot long lanes for visitors on quite the epic hill, you'll find people of all ages enjoying this winter activity.
Those who visit the Tubing Park can either slide down the hill on their own or even choose to link up their tubes with friends and family!
Beginning their snow making on December 8th this year, the park makes an effort to open as soon as possible each and every year.
So, who's ready to plan a day trip to the Woods Valley Ski Area?
While this activity is great for the whole family, those who wish to enjoy the Tubing Park are suggested to be at least 42-inches tall and have the ability to get in and out of the tubes themselves. The Tubing Park will be open on the weekends, with tickets available to purchase at the park on the weekends or at the ticket windows in the Main Lodge whenever the ski area is open.
