An Interactive Exhibit With Giant Dinosaurs Is In New York For A Limited Time
No matter your age, it’s tough not to be fascinated by dinosaurs. These creatures that lived so long ago captivate children and adults alike. Since this species went extinct millions of years ago, you probably think there’s nowhere to see dinosaurs in New York… but there actually is, for a limited time only! Rochester’s wonderful Museum and Science Center has an exhibit for the next few months called Expedition: Dinosaur. The display features life-sized models of dinosaurs that roar and move just like real animals would. It’s a blast for kids and entertaining for adults as well.
Expedition: Dinosaur features realistic animatronic dinosaurs that move and even make noise.
They've even got a couple of feathered velociraptors. Many scientists believe that dinosaurs had at least a thin coating of feathers in some areas, just as all mammals have hair.
After you've explored Expedition: Dinosaur, check out the Dinosaurs at Dusk show at the Strasenburgh Planetarium. The all-age show is a fun journey back in time that will show you even more dinosaurs in New York. Note that the Strasenburgh Planetarium shows are available with an additional ticket. The planetarium is located at the same campus as the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
Expedition: Dinosaur will be on display at the museum only until May 1, 2022, so make plans to go!
