Post Office Cafe is located at 130 West Main Street in Babylon. The building was constructed in the 1930s; it served as a United States Postal Service location for several decades until a larger one was built nearby.
Owner Jack Lessing bought the property from a friend who was using the space to teach new bartenders their trade. He converted it into the popular dining establishment that it has been ever since. In the conversion, he kept many post office features that patrons can still see today.
However, he added a lot of things too, like this beautiful, long bar.
It's a great place to relax and enjoy a drink with your friends.
