The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark in Monticello is relatively new. It opened in 2019 - just in time for the pandemic. However, this large and fun resort made it through that setback, and now is welcoming lots and lots of happy families and vacationers from around the state, nation, and globe.
The rooms at The Kartrite are pleasant and stylish and are a great place to relax with your companions. They come in a variety of sizes from kings and double queen rooms to three-bedroom suites. All rooms come with passes for the waterpark.
The Kartrite offers a number of dining options. There's a buffet, a poolside pizza shop and grill, a breakfast and coffee shop, a candy and sweets store, and a famly-friendly, sit-down, upscale restaurant. All the food is excellent; you certainly won't go hungry here!
The room and food and beverage options are great, but the main attraction at The Kartrite is the giant indoor waterpark. It's the largest indoor waterpark in New York State, and it's always 84 degrees inside!
You can reserve a private cabana if you wish. They hold up to six people and include chaise lounges, chairs, a television, and food and beverage service.
This waterpark is fun for all ages. You'll also find sections for the little ones like Later Gator Crossing and Kartrite Island, and for the very little ones like Puddle Ducks.
Once you get out of the water and get dried off, there are still so many other things you can do at The Kartrite! There's a bowling alley, a high ropes course, laser tag, and an escape room!
