Tucked away in the corner of New York in Chautauqua County is the charming
Peek'n Peak Resort.
If you've never heard of this resort, we don't blame you. Taking you about as far west in New York as you can possibly go, the resort can be found hiding right near our state border.
Right within the small town of Clymer, the resort is open all year long and has so much to offer its guests.
Falling in New York's snowbelt out near Lake Erie, the resort becomes a complete winter wonderland during this time of year.
The resort has been known to receiver over 200 inches of snow every year, making it the perfect winter getaway destination.
Opening up back in the winter of 1964, the Old English style resort features 108 rooms.

During the summer, guests will be able to use the resort's

Guests who are here to hit the snow can pick from a variety of ways to get outside and enjoy the fresh powder.
Peek'n Peak features a ski lift that will bring you to where you'll want to go, with activities for various levels of skiers and snowboarders.
The resort is equipped with four terrain parks and miles of cross country skiing trails.
Each terrain park is suited for a different level of skier, giving adventurers various options. It's here that you'll also be able to explore the six miles of both classic and groomed trails for you to ski through.

If you aren't versed in the skill of skiing or snowboarding, you can enjoy snow tubing at the resort!
Just because you aren't a skier or snowboarder doesn't meant you have to be left out of all the fun that comes with getting out on the snow. The resort features
seven tubing lanes right next to the lodge, with a "magic carpet" lift that will bring you right back to the top of the hill without having to do any strenuous work.

To say that Peek'n Peak is an exciting place would be an understatement. Once the weather gets warmer, guests will be able to explore the resort's Aerial Adventure Course and Giant Ziplines!
The resort's aerial course is made up of 69 obstacles and 8 various courses that range in difficulty. Other fun activities that are also offered here? The resort has its own mini golf course and archery range that you won't want to miss out on!

Coming to you on March 11th, 2017, Spring Fest features delicious kettle corn, beer tastings and even Chili and Hot Chocolate bars that are held inside of the retreat building. Aside from keeping yourself warm with tasty treats, you'll be able to experience the famous Pondskimming Event as well as the Cardboard Box Derby and Beerski Runs!
