Completely transforming the city, Binghamton’s LUMA Projection Arts Festival is the only visual art festival in the entire country with a focus on projection mapping - Whoa!

This year the festival will feature more than a handful of new and major features that are set to completely transform this Southern Tier city.

The event is almost entirely free for all to experience, with most of the art and projection mapping you’ll find on display on a loop for the entirety of the night, beginning at 9 p.m. and running through until about midnight.

Taking place on September 6th and 7th, LUMA 2019 will include projections like Datanova, The Awakening, Pandora’s Box, Phasing Rain, The Challenge, and One Giant Leap.

This year's projections and works of art have been highly anticipated, and with this festival rapidly approaching in early September, you'll want to start planning you trip out to Binghamton now.

As you walk around downtown, you'll see famous landmarks and buildings you pass by on a regular basis looking like they've fallen into other worlds and dimensions.
