When it comes to dining out, we sometimes get stuck in a rut. We tend to have our favorite few places that we return to time again, and that’s fine… but sometimes it’s good to shake things up a little. When you’re looking for a new atmosphere and tasty food, head to this pirate-themed restaurant near Buffalo.

Scallywags Grub and Sprits is located just 17 miles south of Buffalo, in the town of Derby.

This restaurant is pirate-themed from top to bottom. From the nautical decor on the walls...

...to the shark head mounted above the bar, you'll feel as though you've found a pirate's lair.

Captain Morgan lives here, too, and he's always got a treat on his tray for you.

The only proper way to start your meal here is a with a plate of Scallywags' famous wings.

The Smokin' Fish Torpedo is a house specialty here, and it will have your mouth watering the moment they set it down in front of you.

The stuffed peppers aren't on the regular menu, but you'll want to watch for them when they're offered as a special.
