9 Incredible Buffalo Murals To See Around The City
Public art is having a major moment in Buffalo these days, thanks largely in part to the Albright-Knox and their public art initiatives. The next time you’re taking a stroll through the city, be sure to look around for murals both old and new. If you’re not sure where to find them, read along for a few of our favorites!

The Greetings From Buffalo mural is one of the latest and greatest to hit the city, and it's easy to see why! Tourists and natives alike love to pose with this oversized postcard for photo-ops. Find it at 461 Ellicott Street.

"Feast" is serious eye candy on the corner of Elmwood and Bidwell downtown. This mural features several iconic foods and treats, representing what you can find at local farmers markets and along Elmwood Avenue.

Voyage is a stunning piece of art located at 224 Allen Street in Buffalo. This mural was created by local artist Chuck Tingley, who is the talent behind several other public art pieces in Buffalo.

The Resting Lion was once an advertisement and now stands as an icon in Buffalo's public art scene. You can find the lazy lion and its perfectly imperfect exposed brick on Delaware Avenue.

This whimsical mural was created recently by artist Shantell Martin in partnership with the Albright-Knox. The entire mural consists of black and white winding lines that join together to create faces, words, and inspiration on East Delevan Avenue.

Noodle in the Northern Lights is a massive mural located on the side of the Shea's 710 Theatre on Main Street. The mural was completed in 2016 and features geometric shapes in striking, bold colors. Each section of the wall is truly unique, making it a must-see destination (and perfectly Instagram-worthy wall).

Magic Buffalo is a new addition to Hertel Avenue on the side of Joe's Deli. This Polish and Russian-inspired design was completed earlier this summer and is truly a bright spot in the Hertel Avenue landscape.

If we told you a group of students completed this mural, would you believe us? Buffalo's youth are a talented bunch! This mural was finished in 2016 at the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology on Main Street.

The mural at 74 Jewett entitled "72 Jewett" features Buffalo landmarks in a black and gold color scheme. Places painted within the mural include the Elephant House at the Buffalo Zoo, classic Buffalo churches, the Darwin Martin House, and more.
