Freddie's Doughnuts were once a Buffalo specialty morning favorite.

When the donut shop closed up, Buffalonians everywhere were saddened and forced to grab their favorite breakfast treats elsewhere, but they never truly added up to the deliciousness of Freddie's!

Enter Freddie's Doughnuts of today: a little bit different, but mostly the same deliciousness so many of us remember.

Freddie's was reintroduced to Buffalo in 2017 with a goal to revisit the history and traditions that Freddie's was once known for.

Although it's under new ownership, the flavor hasn't changed!

Fresh Freddies Doughnuts are made from scratch each morning, and there are also delicious donuts available for the vegan crowd.

Freddie's doesn't have a brick and mortar location, but tracking them down is totally worth the effort.

You can find the Freddie's Doughnut bike roaming the streets on Friday and Saturday mornings on Hertel Avenue.

If you're not lucky enough to grab a donut from the bike before they sell out, you can find them at several other spots around town.

Freddie's is featured at several local cafes on the regular. Nothing beats delicious donuts paired with freshly brewed coffee!

The current owner of Freddie's has personal ties to Freddie's Doughnuts of the past.

The owner of today's Freddie's has several family members who worked at the original doughnut shop. We swear you can taste the passion when you bite into these delicious donuts!

While the history is certainly not to be forgotten, these are not your grandma's donuts!
