While you can find dozens of restaurants in Santa Fe or Albuquerque, this little cafe in Tatum near the Texas border is well worth the drive. From the outside, it might not look like much, but upon entering you’ll be met with some of the best fried steak, burgers, and more, all with the friendliest people this small town has to offer. All the locals will let you know this is the best restaurant in town, and in fact, it’s one of the only. Don’t be fooled by the location, this humble restaurant is worth a trip from any corner of the state, and once you try the food, you’ll be a fan for life.
