For more than four decades, a New Mexico mainstay has been offering up an assortment of steaks and other dishes to diners stopping by in Albuquerque. The High Noon Restaurant and Saloon was established in 1974, but its ambiance suggests a time long-since passed.

The exterior motif conjures up images of the Old West. Inside, High Noon staffers provide patrons with a more modern, time-honored menu that includes a signature, coriander-cured steak that is topped off with a touch of brown sugar.

High Noon, located in the heart of Albuquerque, is touted as Old Town’s original steakhouse. Old Town is Albuquerque’s original settlement with a number of historic, century-old homes and other architecture.

High Noon is open Wednesday through Sunday each week. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the restaurant features entertainment from classical flamenco guitarist and recording artist Luis Campos.
