Part Waterpark And Part Amusement Park, Casino Pier And Breakwater Beach Is The Ultimate Summer Day Trip In New Jersey
Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach in Seaside Heights offers a blend of old-school charm and modern thrills, making it a quintessential Jersey Shore experience.
It might be August, but there's still a lot of life left in summer - and for me, that means there's no better time for fun on a Jersey Shore boardwalk. The only question is...which boardwalk? Point Pleasant Beach has the old-school charm, while the massive Wildwood boardwalk is larger than life. However, for my money there's no boardwalk park in New Jersey that better sums up the Jersey Shore's charm than the one in Seaside Heights. Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach is an amusement park and water park in one, constantly upgrading with new thrills without ever losing its authentic appeal. Many of the rides are still doggedly old-school, the theming is unique and quirky, and it's the perfect way to spend a summer day in New Jersey only feet from the beach.
Casino Pier is a classic boardwalk theme park, with a lot of thrilling rides ideal for all ages.
You've got old-school rides that have been thrilling families for decades...
As well as wild, modern thrill rides that will take you high above the park before sending you rocketing back down.
There's even a go-kart course on site if you want an extra interactive thrill!
Right next door, you'll find Breakaway Beach - a wet-and-wild waterpark filled with slides and other attractions.
The lushly-themed area has a lot of great splash features for younger kids, as well as more thrilling attractions.
Of course, on a hot day, there's nothing better than a visit to a water park to cool off!
If you take on both parts of this attraction, the odds are you'll be here pretty late - which is all the better, since you'll see the entire park light up in brilliant technicolor!
