Consider Sheridan's Lodge, a lakefront restaurant that makes for a memorable visit.

Sheridan's Lodge is a bit off the beaten path, but this lakeside pub is well worth a visit.

Located in Newton, New Jersey, Sheridan's Lodge is a family-owned restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and amazing food.

The biggest highlight might actually be its location. It sits right on Lake Iliff.

We love a gorgeous waterfront view. It's so peaceful.

There is plenty of outdoor seating, so in the summer months you feel like you're right on the water.

Plus, they often have live music to entertain guests.

But if it's cold or the deck's fully booked, don't worry. You'll still get great views from indoors.

The view from inside will still make you go, "Wow!"

The food is classic American comfort, but it's all done quite well.

We're dying for some fish and chips, actually.

Fine, maybe we want the steak instead. It just looks so good.

You'll also find soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, chicken dishes, and more on the menu.
