One Of New Jersey’s Hidden Gems, You’ll See The Most Spectacular Sunsets At This Beachfront Restaurant

Deauville Inn in Strathmere, New Jersey, offers historic charm, beachfront dining, and stunning sunset views.

Are you in New Jersey and looking for a restaurant that is 1.) historic 2.) beachfront 3.) delicious 4.) beautiful and 5.) a little off the beaten path? Well, have we got the restaurant for you! Deauville Inn, located in Strathmere, New Jersey, is one of the state's hidden gems. Here's what we love about it.

Deauville Inn has to be one of our favorite restaurants in New Jersey. After all, it's right on the water — and what beats dining with a view?

The inn/restaurant has been around in some shape or form since 1881.

Still, despite its lengthy history, it's still a bit of a hidden gem in Jersey.

There are so many reasons to visit this place. First off, the drinks are fantastic.

There is a traditional toast every sunset, too!

Secondly, the food is amazing. It's a mix of classic seafood and American favorites.

Yes, there is a varied selection of oysters and yes, we are obsessed.

Seriously, you'll find yourself full with just the appetizers here (but hold out for the main course, you won't regret it).

There is an outdoor section, so the whole family can have fun at this beachfront restaurant.

And yes, we've mentioned the traditional sunset toast — but how about the sunset views in general?

Drink or no drink, this is one of the best sunsets you'll see off the Jersey Shore.

Simply put, Deauville Inn is a must-visit restaurant.

If you're looking to dine at the restaurant, we recommend you look into getting a reservation — tables fill up fast, especially around the summertime! And if you really love your experience at Deauville Inn, keep in mind: They throw events there.
