We could all use a break every now and then. New Jersey is a busy, bustling state with over 1,200 residents per square mile. We’re the most densely populated state in America (Massachusetts comes in second with approximately 880 residents per square mile), so it can seem hard to find a little peace. Where can we get away from it all? Here are some of our favorite peaceful and relaxing places in no particular order.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
