Catch A Live Beach Sunrise With These Webcams Placed Along New Jersey’s Shore

Over 100 live cameras along New Jersey’s coast offer free 24/7 streams of beaches, boardwalks, and attractions.

Missing the Jersey Shore? Do you wish you could be there right now? You (kind of) can! There are over 100 cameras along New Jersey's coast that offer live streams of local beaches, boardwalks, and attractions. You can enjoy our beach towns 24/7 through free live streams. This means that you can enjoy shore sunrises and sunsets, every day. Each camera offers a different view, and my favorites prominently feature the sand and surf. Discover a few spots to watch the sun rise below and find links to the live streams at the bottom of this article.

1. Seaside Heights

While this free live stream does have advertisements, it also offers sound and the ability to zoom in and out. I listened to the waves and wind for about half an hour in the middle of the night, just to hear the shore.

2. Ocean City

The website where you'll find the Ocean City cameras may have ads but it also has cameras all across the city and shoreline. You're going to get a great view! One of my favorites (so far, I didn't watch all 90) is the camera labeled [Gardens Plaza 3rd Street Beach and Boardwalk] (#18).

3. Atlantic Highlands

You'll get a great view of the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor. It was so peaceful when I watched early in the morning, I could hear the crickets chirping, and I loved it. The flag was gently blowing and the water was so calm.

4. Wildwood

There are several cameras, all with different views, and I didn't see one ad! There were 11 cameras in total, including one focused on the iconic Wildwoods sign.

5. Cape May

There are several cameras in Cape May, as well. I very much enjoyed [The Cove in Cape May (Beachview)]. All were quite lovely.

6. Stone Harbor

The cameras I could find here were all at the Wetlands Institute. You can even watch the osprey nest!

7. Atlantic City

This camera offers a great view of the sand, surf, and skyline.

8. Asbury Park

There were no ads interrupting these live streams, and viewers get to enjoy both the beach and the boardwalk.

There are dozens more (do a web search for your favorite beach town + live cam) and I really felt like I was at the shore. Of course, I have quite the imagination when I try. Let me know what you think of the cameras in the comments!
