This Is The Most Hippie Town In New Jersey And You Need To Visit
It’s no surprise that the Garden State, a state that prides itself in growing fresh fruits and vegetables, has a handful of hippie towns. Lambertville comes to mind, but that’s more of an obvious choice – I’m all about discovering new things in New Jersey. You may be a bit surprised by my pick but, by the end of the article, you’ll see that it definitely gives off some serious hippie vibes.
It's also home to picturesque parks, lovely lakes, an island, and an abundance of shopping and dining opportunities. So, what makes it a hippie haven?
Prana offers yoga classes for all experience levels and in a variety of styles including Kundalini, Vinyasa and Hatha. They even offer Candlelight Restorative Yoga with calming music and aromatherapy! And then, there are the self-care mini retreats...On January 19th, they're hosting a workshop entitled I Am Enough. Shop for homegrown apples, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, winter squash, jams, jellies and much more. In the fall, you can enjoy a free hayride to their pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Find them at 25 Cooper Road.
Enjoy fresh, local produce all year long! While the markets aren't held as frequently in the winter, you can still find them at least once each month. The next market will be held on January 7th at the Bloomfield Parking Lot in Downtown Denville. Expect produce, juices, live music and more.
