The One Restaurant In New Jersey That Becomes Even More Enchanting At Christmas Time
Just as we deck our own halls, many New Jersey restaurants decorate for the holidays. We’ve got a lot of Christmas spirit in the Garden State! While a handful of lights and a sparkling Christmas tree make almost any place feel more festive, there’s a restaurant that really stands out for its outstanding atmosphere at Christmas time.

It exudes elegance and you can expect an exquisite meal with magnificent service. Whether you're looking to host an event or just seeking a romantic dinner for two, The Manor has got you covered. Enjoy a la carte dining at their Terrace Lounge (with an oak bar and talented pianist), buffet dining in the Manor Room (featuring hand carved ice sculptures and ornate floral arrangements), special international buffet nights, and Wine Wednesdays (BYO with no corkage fee). Their gorgeous glass dome offers a lounge atmosphere with music, cocktails and dancing on weekends. The menu options are just as diverse as your dining options - you'll find an upscale selection including steak, seafood, wild boar and brioche bread pudding.

There are gardens, fountains and waterfalls for your viewing pleasure. In fact, The Manor is surrounded by 20 acres of gardens and bordered by the Eagle Rock Reservation. Since 1956, they've upheld a tradition of elegance and splendor and every bit of the dining experience here feels luxurious. Many ingredients are organic and made locally. In addition, they have ice sculptors and silversmiths on staff.

You'll find enchanting decorations both indoors and out. The dome lounge is lit up with a 13-foot tree! During the month of December, the dome is hosting holiday happy hours on Fridays from 5:30 - 7 p.m.. They are also hosting a Christmas-themed live music show at The Manor featuring classic rock n' roll Christmas songs on December 20th. Their beloved lunch buffets will be offered more frequently between December 8th and December 30th due to popular demand; indulge from Wednesday-Friday. In addition to the holiday events, the restaurant just seems to sparkle with a fresh coating of snow.

Grand staircases wrapped in evergreen garlands, bows abound, you'll feel as if you've been transported to the North Pole. Santa would most certainly want to dine here. Walking into this vestibule is sure to put you in the holiday spirit and fill you with whimsy and cheer.
The Manor is even open for Christmas dinner. Find them at 111 Prospect Avenue in West Orange. While a meal here is marvelous during the holiday season, could you imagine a winter wedding? How romantic! For more of the most romantic restaurants in New Jersey, click here.
