Walter/Newton Natural Area Trail Is A Beginner-Friendly Waterfall Trail In New Hampshire That’s Great For A Family Hike
If you’re in search of a small adventure, New Hampshire is always a great place to start! As one of the most beautiful states in the country, there are plenty of things to do that immerse you in the beauty of nature. However, while we might have big ambitions the reality is that most times we just want a simple activity that will calm our nerves and bring us some peace. That’s why we love this hike. It’s easy, pretty, and ends in a fun waterfall.
To see one of the sweetest little waterfalls in New Hampshire you’ll want to head to the Walter-Newton Natural Area in Plymouth where a hike with the same name will take you to Rainbow Falls.
To access the trail and the parking lot head to Cummings Hill Road.
The Walter/Newton Natural Area Trail is best accessed between March and November. Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash. You can learn more about the trail on alltrails.com.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
