It took a few months, but warmer weather might just be on the horizon for Granite Staters. And, as we get a taste for spring and summer, we find ourselves wanting to spend as much time outside as we possibly can. Sure, hitting the trails is great. But when it's time for lunch and dinner, you probably won't want to head inside. For more time in the beautiful New Hampshire spring and summer weather, head to these restaurants that have some great outdoor seating.
1. Holy Grail Restaurant and Pub, Epping
This pub is inspired by all things Ireland and the vibe is super casual. You'll find traditional Irish meals, as well as a fair few gluten-free options. And, of course, the patio is lovely! Find them at: 64 Main St., Epping / 603-679-9559.
2. Akwa Marina Beach Barr, Laconia
The gorgeous lake view is what draws people, but the food and might be what keeps them here for hours! That and the epic breeze. Visit them at: 95 Centenary Ave., Laconia / 603-782-4242.
3. BG's Boat House Restaurant & Marina, Portsmouth
Was there ever anything better than water views while sitting on a covered patio enjoying the best New England seafood? We're gonna say "nah." Especially when it's at this beautiful spot in Portsmouth. Check them out at: 191 Wentworth Rd., Portsmouth / 603-431-1074.
4. Brown’s Lobster Pound, Seabrook
So, we know that this place technically isn't a "patio," but it's outdoors enough for us to love it. Mostly, we just couldn't leave off their wonderful lobster. So, take a trip here whether you're patio focused or not and eat some of the best fresh seafood around. They're located at: 407 NH-286, Seabrook / 603-474-3331.
5. LaBelle Winery, Amherst
Whatever you think about wineries will change when you check out this spot. With a full menu of farm-to-table options, the bistro here acts as much as a restaurant as it does a winery. 6. Town Docks, Meredith
This sandy outdoor eating area is more beach than it is patio, but we love it nonetheless. Some of the best seafood is served at this lakeside spot on a daily basis, including this jumbo lobster roll! Visit them at: 289 Daniel Webster Hwy., Meredith / 603-279-3445.
7. 900 Degrees, Manchester
This spot has an authentic dough recipe and the perfect oven to create Neapolitan pizzas that feel like you've gone straight to Italy. Dine outside and enjoy the goat cheese pie, which gets rave reviews. They're located at: 50 Dow St., Manchester / 603-641-0900.
8. Patio at The Bedford Village Inn, Bedford
You don't need to stay overnight to enjoy the dining at this wonderful New Hampshire inn. The patio feels absolutely refreshing and the meals will keep you satisfied and happy. Check them out at: 2 Olde Bedford Way, Bedford / 603-472-2001.
