The Quirky Motel In Nevada You Never Knew You Needed To Stay At
It’s been established that Nevada is home to some pretty odd places to sleep. I mean, we even have a
creepy clown motel, for goodness sake. If you’re looking for a memorable place for your next weekend getaway, consider spending a few nights at Bonnie Springs Ranch. This weird motel definitely has its quirks, but you’re sure to have a blast at this historic gem.
Bonnie Springs Ranch isn't your average motel. It's a lot more than that. This amazing attraction consists of a motel, restaurant, zoo, and "Old Town" all in one. It's the quirky vacation you never knew you needed.
The ranch was originally built in 1843 as a stopover for wagon trains on the Old Spanish trail during their journey to California. You'll find this hidden gem tucked deep in the heart of the famous Red Rock Canyon, approximately half an hour from Vegas.
This place acts as a refuge from the noise and chaos of the Strip, and instead reflects the quiet solitude of the Old West lifestyle. It really feels like you're stepping back in time to an authentic Wild West town from the 1800s.
The ranch is often regarded as Nevada's "best kept secret". It truly has everything you could want. Here you'll find the only restaurant and bar in Red Rock Canyon. You'll definitely want to stop by for a tasty burger and a refreshing beverage.
The main attraction is the ranch's "Old Town". This place is a convincing replica of a real 19th century town. The site includes a variety of historic buildings such as a general store, schoolhouse, shooting gallery, opera house, and more.
They provide live entertainment in the town from Wednesday through Sunday in the form of reenactments. Who knows, you might just stumble in on a shootout!
The ranch even contains a petting zoo which is home to a variety of exotic animals. Turtles, rabbits, emus, wallabies, donkeys, and more can be observed seven days a week at the Bonnie Springs Zoo.
Bonnie Springs has its fair share of oddities. You never know what you're going to stumble upon here.
Not only does the motel offer an endless amount of fun, but it also provides easy access to the incredible Red Rock Canyon. Whether you're looking for your next adventure or simply a place to entertain you for a few days, a stay at Bonnie Springs Ranch will not disappoint.
