Nevada is the most mountainous state. Although some of Nevada’s mountains have much higher elevations than the others, all of them are amazingly BEAUTIFUL and create some of the most BREATHTAKING views you’ll ever see. Listed below are 10 of the most BEAUTIFUL mountains in Nevada.
1. Mount Rose
With an elevation of 10,785 feet, Mount Rose is the tallest mountain in Washoe County.
2. Ruby Dome
Ruby Dome has an elevation of 11,388 feet and is the tallest mountain in the Ruby Mountains and all of Elko County.
3. Charleston Peak
Charleston Peak is the tallest mountain in the Spring Mountains and all of Clark County, with an elevation of 11,916 feet.
4. Kraft Mountain
Kraft Mountain is located within the Calico Basin of the Red Rocks area, and has an elevation of 4,714 feet. This is a GREAT mountain for hiking!
5. Diamond Peak
The tallest mountain in the Diamond Mountain Range is Diamond Peak, with an elevation of 10,631 feet.
6. Wheeler Peak
Wheeler Peak is located within the Great Basin National Park and has an elevation of 13,064 feet.
