living ghost town is probably a more suitable term. This historic little town doesn’t have a lot in regards to attractions but it IS home to an amazing antique store that’s worth stopping at. The Luning Trading Post is just as quaint on the inside as it looks on the outside, and it brings tons of character to this quiet town.
Luning is a tiny unincorporated town nestled away in Mineral County. Originally founded in 1881 as a town called Deep Wells, this little community is a real historic gem that a surprising amount of people don't even know about.
