This 3-Mile Hike In Wyoming Leads To The Dreamiest Swimming Hole
Wyoming offers beautiful swimming holes and serene camping spots, particularly at New Fork Lakes in Bridger-Teton National Forest.
You don't have to live on the coast to enjoy a good swim - in fact, Wyoming is full of beautiful swimming holes where you can cool off on a hot summer day. Check out one of the best places to camp and splash at the edge of the Wind River Range.
Bridger-Teton National Forest is one of the most stunning places on earth, and the New Fork Lake Trail will show off some of its beauty.
You can park right at the trailhead and then head out on a three mile out-and-back adventure that will truly take you away from it all.
This is an easy and serene trail, but keep an eye out for wildlife, and be sure to carry bear spray. You never know who you will encounter.
After you have explored the gorgeous New Forks Trail, head on down to the New Fork Lakes! These two mountains lakes are separated by a small channel called The Narrows.
The New Fork Lakes are one of Wyoming's best kept secrets. You can swim, splash, and relax in peace and quiet.
You can even camp here. There are plenty of cleared sites with fire rings and picnic tables.
After all, there's nothing quite as refreshing and relaxing as spending a few days enjoying Wyoming's peaceful and serene wilderness.
