Life can get pretty stressful at times. Sometimes you need a place to sit and relax and let all your worries drift away. In the historic spa town of White Sulphur Springs, there's a perfect little place for just this purpose - The Pomona Salt Cave & Spa. It is truly a respite - mind, body, and spirit. Come along as we show you why we love it so much:
The Salt Cave and Spa is a man-made cave built right into the hillside.
It is located in the town of White Sulphur Springs, about a 2-hour drive southeast of Charleston.
The inside of the cave is amazing.
It was made to evoke the natural West Virginia landscape.
The cave offers Salt and Halotherapy services.
The lights are lowered to a warm glow, and the air is infused with salt and minerals. The therapy is said to help those with respiratory issues, skin conditions, arthritis, allergies, and other ailments.
You can sit in a zero-gravity chair and let go of your worries, stress, and pain.
The room is filled with soft, peaceful music. Many people use the time for mediation or reflection. It really feels like a special getaway.
The Salt Cave also offers massage and spa services, so you can spend the day in total luxury and relaxation.
Coming here is also a great romantic date activity
