There’s Nothing Better Than West Virginia’s Natural Lazy River On A Summer’s Day

As the weather heats up, it's time to start planning for fun days in the water in West Virginia. Some people like exciting rapids, some enjoy waterparks and fast slides, and some people love the beauty of natural lakes and rivers. No matter your favorite, it's hard not to love a float down a lazy river, and it's even better when it's a real river outdoors!

If you want a nice, relaxing float, take a trip down the Shenandoah with a friend.

The unguided flat water tubing requires tubers to come in groups of 2 or more for safety reasons. Each trip takes about 1-2 hours.

You can upgrade your tube to one with a back rest and drink holders.

If you want a little more adventure, River Riders also offers white water tubing on the Potomac.

When you're finished the float, a shuttle will pick you up and take you back to Harpers Ferry.
