Fall Is Coming And Here Are The Most Beautiful Places To See Changing Leaves In West Virginia
Believe it or not, fall is on its way. With the gorgeous colors of West Virginia's landscape combined with the crisp air of the season, we couldn't be more excited for this transition. If you agree with this sentiment, there's an interactive map published by the fine folks of Smoky Mountains that will show you when and where to see the peak colors of fall foliage.
The Fall 2017 Foliage Prediction Map is an incredible interactive tool that offers the leaf changing forecast for the upcoming season.
As you scroll forward on the map, you'll notice that West Virginia begins to see a small amount of change on the weekend of September 17th.

It's not until the weekend of October 8th that the peak foliage weekend will occur, despite other states already having experienced their maximum leaf viewing earlier in the season.
That gives the residents of West Virginia plenty of time to begin planning excursions, road trips, hikes, and all sorts of festivities for welcoming autumn.
After all, West Virginia may just be the most beautiful state when it comes to fall foliage.
