There Is A Massive Wine And Chocolate Festival Happening In Washington In February
Lake Chelan offers a romantic and delightful winter experience with wine and chocolate pairings, scenic views, and unique dining options.
If you're of the opinion that Lake Chelan is best visited in the summertime, we highly recommend heading that way before winter ends. You just might change your mind. Not only is Chelan well-known for its gorgeous Winterfest in January, but February also happens to be a delightful time to visit.
Every February, couples come together and groups of friends gather to celebrate a Month of Love. This month-long event features all kinds of delicious chocolate and wine pairings, plus a host of other enticing events and activities. Come prepared to fall in love with this beautiful area (and perhaps each other) all over again.
Lake Chelan is absolutely breathtaking in the winter, and the valley is so peaceful when it's blanketed in frost and snow.
February is the perfect time to plan a trip to rekindle your love (of wine, of course).
All month long, Chelan and Manson's tasting rooms are filled with smiling faces.
It's hard not to be in a wonderful mood when you have red wine and chocolate.
Many local wineries are participating in the promotion, including Ancestry Cellars.
The Manson Tasting Room has partnered with Merrow Chocolatier to deliver these unique pairings. The nearby Alta Cellars is pairing their wines with chocolates from Leavenworth's Schocolat, and Fielding Hills Winery teamed up with Bright’s Candies of Walla Walla.
Several tasting rooms, like Lake Chelan Winery, are offering cheese with their chocolate and vino ...
... in fact, it's all about the cheese at Hard Row to Hoe.
The "Cheese is my Love Language" promotion features a curated flight of three handcrafted wines and three specialty cheeses.
Looking for something a little different? You'll have several options for late cruises this month.
Treat yourself to a Valentine’s Day Dinner Cruise with a 5-course meal, presented by Sunset Manson and Amos Rome Vineyards aboard The Lady Of the Lake.
Are you more of an igloo dining person? Check out Tsillan Cellars and Sorrento's Ristorante.
Book the "Love in the Bubble" package and enjoy a private one-house wine experience in a bubble by the lake, complete with a bottle of 2018 Methode Champenoise bubbles, a charcuterie board, and chocolates for two people for $125.
These tempting events will be happening all month long, so cure your cabin fever with a trip to Chelan.
Late winter and road trips go together like red wine and chocolate, especially when this is the destination.
