When you sign up for a guided tour, you can look forward to venturing nearly 400 feet below ground.

As you descend down into the cavern system, you'll notice the temperature drop or rise, depending on the time of year you visit. Year round, the cavern measures 54 degrees.

You'll want to prepare accordingly by bringing a jacket if you chill easily. Also be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes so you can keep your footing.

Inside the cave, you'll find all sorts of unique rock formations. Flowstone, draperies, pools, stalactites, and stalagmites and other features will be pointed out to you by your tour guide.
