Oh, the weather outside isn’t yet frightful, but the experts at the Farmer’s Almanac are predicting a Vermont winter that will require lots of shoveling. Fans of chilly weather and snowflakes are in luck – winter 2020 may have plenty of both.

The legendary Farmers Almanac has just released their predictions for winter 2020. It looks like Vermonters can expect wild temperature swings and lots of snow.

The Almanac explains that this winter may be characterized by warmer weeks interspersed with freezing weeks. That means you can expect both snow and rain to make frequent appearances. Specifically, the Almanac is forecasting storms from January 4 to 7 and again from January 12 to 15. The weather in January and early February is supposed to be particularly intense.

Things are meant to warm up a bit as we move out of February and into March, but you can still expect fierce rain and a snowstorm or two.
