The Most Photographed Farm In North America Is Right Here In Vermont

It is said that the Jenne Farm in Reading is not only the most photographed farm in VT, but it's the most photographed in North America. This is the Jenne Farm which is one of the most photographed farms in the world.

The early morning light which casts upon the buildings has drawn photographers from all over to capture it themselves.

It's no surprise that fall foliage is a favorite time to capture this quintessential setting.

But how was this spot discovered by photographers?

People started buzzing about the spot in the 1950's after a photography school in South Woodstock snapped some fantastic shots.

Soon after it was featured in Life Magazine photography contests, and even graced the covers of cover of Yankee magazine and Vermont Life.

Corporate America tuned into this little farm too and it appeared in a Budweiser commercial.

The Jenne Farm even appeared on the big screen in Forest Gump and Funny Farm!

On any given day you can probably find some folks ready to capture that morning light.

How to get there:

The Jenne Farm is about 15 minutes south of Woodstock on Route 106. On 106 drive through South Woodstock, follow the road up Reading Hill. Once you are over the hill look on your right for a small sign.
