1. Wheeler Mountain, Sutton

Wheeler Mountain is definitely one of the best hikes in Vermont! The rocky cliffs provide gorgeous views of the foliage. It will take about 2 hours for this 2.5 mile trek.

2. Prospect Rock, Johnson

The trail distanc eat Prospect Rock is about 1.5 miles and you can get to the top and down in roughly an hour and a half. It gets pretty slippery when it's wet so be prepared with appropriate footwear.

3. Bald Mountain, Pittsford

A short but steep hike up to Owl's Head Lookout is worth the tired muscles. It's out of this world year round, but fall is particularly awesome.

The hike at the Stowe Pinnacle in the beautful town of Stowe is moderately difficult and steep at times, but you'll understand why people flock to this epic trail each fall.
