Vermonters Should Expect Extra Cold And Snow This Winter According To The Farmers’ Almanac
Vermont is expected to have a cold and snowy winter in 2023-2024, with plenty of opportunities for winter activities.
The winter season is fast approaching in Vermont, which means it's time to take a look at the predictions for this year's winter in New England. By way of the Farmers' Almanac, we can be a bit more equipped to face whatever weather comes our way this winter. Let's take a look and see what their predictions are for winter 2020. Spoiler alert: It's going to be a cold and snowy winter in Vermont.
The annual American periodical of Farmers' Almanac has been in circulation for over 200 years, forecasting weather predictions of the U.S. and Canada.
According to the Farmers' Almanac, this winter in New England is expected to see a cold and snowy winter, with the long-range forecast predicting a cold winter. In the upcoming season, Vermont will see normal to below-normal temperatures.
Although these predictions are not always correct, they claim to be correct with their predictions around 80 percent of the time. Even with the variability, these predictions are still fun to look at, and who knows, maybe this year they'll be right. It can't hurt to prepare for the worst.
The periodical is also calling for a potential massive snowstorm in the early half of March, perhaps similar to what we saw in March of 2017.
All we can do now is wait and see. Do you think the Farmers' Almanac has any real significant ability to predict weather patterns? Or do you think it's all just hopeful wishing?
