There's nothing like the magic of the holiday season, and one of our favorite ways to celebrate is by heading to a family farm. Petersen Family Farm has a lot going on this time of year, and you're going to want to bring your own family to this special place this month.
You'll find Petersen Family Farm in Riverton, and it's a truly special place to visit year-round. At Christmastime, the farm is full of fun, family activities that you won't want to miss.
One of the favorite activities on the farm is its wagon ride, and it's so popular that you'll want to get there early to get your ticket.
Climb aboard for a special farm tour! Farmer Luke will drive the tractor and point out some of the cool things around the property. Farmer Luke is the 5th generation of his family to run the farm, which was founded all the way back in 1871!
Tickets are $6 for the wagon ride, or $12 to add a visit with Santa. They're available at the Farm Store starting at 5 p.m. on the days the wagon ride is offered.
Make sure you make your wish list before your visit, so you can give Santa some gift ideas. Hopefully you've been more nice than naughty this year!
Santa will be at the farm on December 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, and the wagon rides are offered on the same days.
While you're at the farm, choose the perfect Christmas tree, wreath, or other holiday decorations.

The Farm Market is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
