There’s a wonderful place to stroll called the Utah Lake Shoreline Trail. This trail wraps around the edge of the lake by the Provo Municipal Airport.
The trail is clearly defined and well maintained.
It’s easy to follow and parallels the shoreline. It varies between paved asphalt and a packed dirt path.
Even though it’s a long hike at 10 miles, it’s easy to walk.
You can pop in on many spots during the trail, and turn back whenever you get tired. The trail crosses a few streets, so it would be easy to walk a small section instead of completing the entire hike.
You’ll see many boaters while out on your stroll.
This lake is a big recreational area, especially as the water temperature hovers at a pleasant 75 degrees. Many people swim, boat, and paddle board on Utah Lake.
Bring a picnic if you’d like to sit and enjoy the view on your walk.
Visitors enjoy plenty of bird watching and fishing on this lake. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore, and you can check out piers, creeks, or just sit on the beach. There’s really no wrong way to enjoy the views on this lake!
Before you know it, you’ll have spent the entire day enjoying the beauty of Utah Lake State park.
