For a fun-filled, old-fashioned Christmas, visit Petersen Family Farm, which was established in 1871. The Farm is located at 11800 S. 4000 W. in Riverton.

This family-operated farm grows and sells fresh produce year-round. At Christmastime, the farm turns into a winter wonderland, where you can find the perfect Christmas tree.

Get a gorgeous wreath for your front door. The wreaths are home-grown at Local Roots Flower Farm.

Take a covered wagon ride through the farm. The wagon is pulled by a vintage tractor, and Farmer Luke will tell you a magical story about the farmer who shared his manger with Mary and Joseph.

After your wagon ride, say hello to Old St. Farmer Nick.

Wagon rides and Santa visits are offered on the following dates between now and Christmas: Friday 12/15, Saturday 12/16, Monday 12/18, Tuesday 12/19, Wednesday 12/20, Thursday 12/21 and Friday 12/22.

The cost for the wagon ride and Santa visit is $10 per person; take the wagon ride by itself for just $6, or visit Santa without the wagon ride for $6.

The farm is all decorated for the holidays.
