Here in Utah, we are pretty proud of our national parks. We may be a little biased, but we think they are gorgeous in every way. Well, new data shows that we aren’t the only ones that think Utah’s national parks are one-of-a-kind. According to MSN’s Ranked: the world’s most stunning national parks, three national parks in Utah — Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park — were listed as some of the most beautiful parks in the entire world and we couldn’t be more proud.
According to the publication, data was collected by Mainland Aggregates and Instagram. The data was used to determine the most breathtaking national parks worldwide.
Arches National Park ranked as the 14th most stunning national park around the world. According to the data, there are more than 449,999 Instagram posts showcasing the red rocks, arches, and other landscapes in this incredible park near Moab.
While many arches and other views are captured and posted on social media of this national park, Balanced Rock is one of the most popular and most photographed. This rock formation stands approximately 128 feet tall.
Bryce Canyon National Park was ranked 11th on this worldwide list. The research shows that this national park has more than 518,000 Instagram posts.
While it is difficult to choose a favorite overlook or attraction at this national park, the sunrise photos, particularly at Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, showcase the beauty that this park offers.
Coming in as the sixth most stunning national park in the entire world is Zion National Park. There are a whopping 962,400 posts displaying the views and attractions found in the oldest national park in Utah.
Zion National Park is well-known for its incredible hiking trails. If you are brave and up for a challenge, try Angel’s Landing, one of the most dangerous -- yet stunning -- hikes in America.
For a unique hiking experience and to see some one-of-a-kind and unforgettable views, you’ll want to explore the Narrows.
This is one of the most popular hikes in the national park. You will walk through a gorge with walls on both sides that are more than 1,000-feet tall. Don't forget your water shoes as you’ll trek in the Virgin River for portions of this hike.
