If you're looking for great things to do outside in Utah, then you came to the right place.
The best times to visit Bryce Canyon National Park are in June or in October, as other times of the year can be too hot or too snowy.
Even in the warmer months, it’s a good idea to look up the weather conditions before you head out on your adventure.
Magnificent rock formations abound in this park; limestone cracks and breaks from freezing and then melting, and summer rains move away the sediment, forming the unusual hoodoos.
You can explore these formations by following some of the best hiking trails in Utah. There are trails for all abilities here.
At one time, this entire area was a vast ocean.
In our very first expedition to this incredible park – all the way back in April of 2007 – we were greeted by snow, fog, and nearly zero visibility.
We thought we had waited long enough for the winter weather to pass, but learned quickly that checking the forecast is vital to ensuring that you are able to see the expansive land in all its glory. On a clear day, you can see for miles and fully appreciate this amazing place.
On our first adventure, we nearly missed one of one of our favorite features; the Natural Bridge, which is a short distance out from the Visitor's Station.
The bridge was barely visible, but we had excellent luck with the weather when we made another trip last June.
You'll never forget the sights you see in Bryce Canyon National Park.
These photos were taken last summer and, despite a thunderstorm that rolled in and kept us hopping along to see as much as we could while the sun was out and the views were clear.
Even if you have already visited this amazing National Park, there is no excuse not to make a return trip! There is so much to see here and you will discover something new every time you go. These views truly never get old!
