Nothing Says Fall In The Lone Star State Like The Texas-Shaped Corn Maze At Sweet Berry Farm
Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls, Texas, offers a unique Texas-shaped corn maze and various fall activities during its annual "Harvest of Fall Fun" festival.
Corn mazes pop up all over Texas during fall, but few are as festive as the one at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. It's shaped just like the Lone Star State, making for a fun activity sure to become an autumn tradition for your family.
Each year, Sweet Berry Farm holds their annual "Harvest of Fall Fun" festival. It typically runs from mid-September thru early November.
The festivities are aplenty, but one attraction stands out among all the rest: a Texas-shaped corn maze.
Unlike any corn maze you've ever traversed, this four-acre labyrinth looks just like Texas. Even the inside is an exact replica, and you'll be tasked with locating real places in the state.
This year, the theme is state parks. You'll have to locate 20 of them, so here's hoping you paid attention in geography class! (Don't worry -- there's a map at the entrance if you need help.) The cost is $8 per person; children under six get in free with a paying adult.
For smaller children, the Candy Corn Kid Maze offers just enough of a challenge without causing overwhelm. It's a lot like the Texas maze -- just easier.
Admission is $2.75 per person (ages two and under get in free).
After making your way through the maze, it's time to pick some pumpkins! You'll find every shape, size, and color in the patch, the immense variety ensuring you'll find the perfect fit.
Pumpkins and gourds are individually priced. Most pumpkins cost about 49 cents per pound, with jack-o'-lanterns falling in the $3-$12 range.
Other activities include hayrides, pumpkin painting, pick-your-own flowers, a miniature train, pony rides, and much more. Pricing is "à la carte," so visit the Sweet Berry Farm website for a better idea of how much your visit will cost.
There's endless fun for all ages - both kids and kids at heart are guaranteed to have a blast.
Don't miss out on the photo-ops! You'll definitely want to document all the memories made on the farm.
How quirky is this setup? Pose for the camera and say cheese!
The Harvest of Fall Fun lasts until November 8. Hours are 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday-Saturday (closed on Wednesday). Sunday is 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Crowds are sparsest on Mondays and Tuesdays, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.
