If you're like us, then you'd do ANYTHING for a pretty view and a moment away from the crazy. These seven scenic overlooks across middle and east Tennessee will get that heart rate up. We'll be visiting the west and south sides soon, though - keep an eye out for pretty Chattanooga comin' up here real soon! For now, lets fall in love with these perfect Tennessee overlooks.

1. Birdsong Hollow

Located on the Natchez-Trace right outside of Franklin, a suburb of Nashville, we'll never get over a view like this.

2. Morton Overlook

Located in Gatlinburg, this is one view that you simply will never forget. You don't even need a picture - you'll forever remember.

3. Cades Cove

This almost looks like some beautiful swing scene from out of a movie, a stunning moment on the peak of a mountaintop. Can someone start playing a pretty theme song, please?

4. Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook

Gatlinburg can be a cute view in itself, for all you city folk. Nothing like appreciating the place that gives you sweet spot to rest your head after all that hiking!

5. Clingman's Dome

The highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains makes for a perfect viewing spot, don't you think? Make sure to bring those hiking shoes!

6. Love Circle

Hey there, Nashville! The local lover's lane is actually a prime lookout point, perfect for a couple of shots and quick smooch with your loved one.

7. Roan High Bluff

At 6,220 feet, you most definitely can't be scared of heights if you're headed to Roan High Bluff. But the views are totally worth it - get going!

8. Bee Rock Overlook

Short and small, you won't find many folks rustling through to Bee Rock - and we love it that way. Plus, it's under a mile!
