Fido in Nashville and Tamp & Tap in Memphis make a mean cup of hot chocolate. Stop in to your favorite mom 'n pop shop for a warm mug.

The lights at Opryland in Nashville are KNOWN around the state for their stunning holiday cheer. The line is usually long, but the experience is more than worth it.

7) It's Ober Gatlinburg's time to shine.

The best (and only) ski spot in the state, Ober Gatlinburg attracts thousands of tourists yearly.

6) Christmas music tours are SOLID.

Tennessee is known for its music scene, and many of your favorite stars play a couple of shows studded with warm Christmas music. Make sure to check their tour schedule to get in on a fantastic underground show.
