There is nothing like autumn at Cheekwood, and every year the Cheekwood Harvest event calendar remains one of the most lucrative and illustrious in the city. You can see pictured one of the two 11-foot Pumpkin Houses that are built on-site, and there are even carving and painting stations for the little ones.
Looking for fun for Fido? There's a Pooch Parade hosted every year in late October that invites locals to bring their costumed cuties to visit. Pup-centric vendors will be on-site, and the costume creativing is jaw dropping.
The Turner Seasons Garden features a scarecrow exhibit, and every year the theme changes. It's a favorite for tiny visitors and older folks as well, and you can even print out a scavenger hunt to complete during your trek down the trail.
Thursday Night Out occurs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every week, and you'll find everything from outdoor activities to live music and food trucks. A sunset picnic in the Beer Garden (pictured) is a good place to cap off the week, and you can purchase tickets to the Cheekwood cocktail crawl known as "Thirsty Third Thursday" as well.

Hot tip: The Pumpkin Village is a great spot for little ones, and you can even choose to purchase a pumpkin to take home for yourself. Capacity is currently limited, so make sure that you reserve tickets online before you head on over.
