The Rushmore Mountain Coaster at Rush Mountain Adventure Park opened relatively recently, and it's become an ultra-hit.
The coaster starts with a tall hill to get the momentum going. Your cart is securely attached to the rail, and you're buckled into a seatbelt, so it's perfectly safe.
Don't worry - this coaster is suitable even for people who aren't necessarily thrill seekers. Every cart is equipped with a hand brake, so you can go as slow or fast as you'd like.
If you're a daredevil, you'll reach speeds of up to 30 mph!
If you'd like to take it slow and easy, no problem - just slow your cart down. The 3,400-foot track is elevated, so you'll get some incredible views during your ride.
Just like an amusement park coaster, the Rushmore Mountain Coaster has plenty of twists and turns. This coaster takes you right through the trees!
The coaster has one-person and two-person carts. Enjoy the ride on your own, or hop aboard with a friend (or small child).
Riders must be 54" tall to ride by themselves. To take a passenger, one person must be 54" tall and at least 16 years old. There's a 375 lb. weight limit per cart.
