Situated on the banks of the James River, Kasemeister Creamery is located within a Hutterite community known as Spink Colony.

The dairy processing center opened in June of 2018 in an effort to bring farm-fresh cheeses and other quality products to the community.

Kasemeister Creamery is famous for its mouthwatering assortment of flavors, including special-reserve Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Colby.

Another popular specialty item is the Quark cheese, which is a German-style, slightly sweet spreadable cheese.

Equally delicious are the cheese curds, which come in distinctive flavors such as bacon jalapeño and apple cinnamon.

Visit the creamery and you can look forward to learning more about the cheese-making process, from raising the cows to processing the cheese.

What's unique about Kasemeister Creamery is that the milk used for the cheese-making is sourced on property at the farmstead.

The creamery is committed to using NoN-GMO feed, which is grown on the property for the dairy cows.

Step inside the retail shop and you'll find yourself in cheese heaven. It's here that visitors can sample different varieties and pick up some cheese to take home.

There's even a window into the creamery so that visitors can see the fascinating process of local cheesemaking.

While you're inside the shop, you'll want to stock up on your favorite cheeses, honey, and homemade baked goods. You can also customize a gift box as a perfect souvenir from your visit.
