Welcome to Lake Herman State Park; a peninsula situated atop a 1,350-acre lake that was formed by melting glacial ice some thousands of years ago.

(I know, I know; a peninsula is not the exact same thing as an island, but it's close enough, right?)

Open year round, Lake Herman State Park offers a little something for everyone, including spectacular camping...

...fishing and other various water sports...

...and enjoying the peace and quiet you can only get in the great outdoors.

In addition to all of the above, Lake Herman is also considered to be one of the best spots in the state for boating, canoeing, and kayaking, so come prepared!
