This Easy Wildflower Hike In South Dakota Will Transport You Into A Sea Of Color

If you're looking for wildflowers this summer, Little Spearfish Trail is one of the best trails to take. You'll find the trailhead near Timon Campground off Forest Service Road 222 in Spearfish Canyon.

This pretty trail makes a 5.8-mile long loop. It takes you over wooded hills and across pretty wildflower meadows. The hike is rated easy, and is suitable for most hikers.

Most of the trail follows alongside Little Spearfish Creek, which keeps you company with its gurgles and bubbles.
