Gas up the car, pack some snacks, and head to Salley, South Carolina, for a family adventure sure to make memories you'll treasure for a lifetime. A drive-thru safari park awaits in this tiny town of approximately 400 residents - and that doesn't include the more than 200 exotic animals at Eudora Farms Safari Park - and it's a home run for fun everyone in the family can enjoy.
Affordably priced at only $20 per vehicle (up to six occupants), a vehicle pass for the safari park is good for one pass through the three-mile drive-thru adventure where you'll encounter animals you wouldn't get to see normally.
The traffic flow is slow enough for one-on-one encounters with the animals.
And the animals aren't exactly shy, either. Roll down the windows and prepare for some laughter that delves deep into your belly as you make your way through the park.
Among the favorites of most visitors are the zebras. You may see some grazing up on the hillside, or find they've wandered over to...
... say hello, and ask for a carrot.
Your vehicle pass comes with food to feed the animals that want it. Outside food for the animals is not permitted, as they must maintain a very specific diet for health reasons.
(But you, as a guest, can pack a cooler and bring in all the food you want for you and your family.)

Make sure your camera and phones are charged to full capacity. It can take a couple of hours to make it through the three-mile loop.
All guests enjoying the drive-thru safari at Eudora Farms are required to remain in the car at all times, but this will be easy since you'll be mesmerized by the constant stream of exotic animals.
Eudora Farms is located approximately 30 miles northwest of Orangeburg and 30 miles northeast of Aiken. Although it's situated way out in the country, the popularity of this attraction is increasing - especially in a world where finding socially distant activities is essential. The wait times to get into the safari can vary from no wait to up to two hours. Eudora Farms' Facebook page is very good at posting wait times when they apply, so be sure to give it a follow to stay up to date on those. Pack a lunch or snacks to keep everyone full and satisfied in the event a wait time is in place when you arrive.
Learn more about Eudora Farms and find answers to any questions you may have on the official website for Eudora Farms. The current hours are Wedensday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additional passengers (above the six included in the $20 vehicle pass) are $6/per person. Additional pails of food are $5 each.
