After a long winter, we can't think of any place better to kick off spring than at this tulip farm in Rhode Island. Whether you've been craving a huge dose of color or you're a fresh flower fanatic, Wicked Tulips Flower Farm will make your heart bloom!

Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is located at 400 Hog House Hill Rd in Exeter, Rhode Island.

Head out this spring to visit the 5-acre Wicked Tulips Flower Farm.

Packed full of colorful blooms, this Rhode Island tulip farm is a sight for sore eyes after months of the drab winter scenery.

This past fall, 600,000 bulbs were planted in the fields at the farm.

They are waiting underground to burst into a full range of color when the time is right.

The timing of the tulip extravaganza depends on Mother Nature's whims, but the farm is generally open every year from mid-April until about mid-May.

You can check out the farm website over the next few weeks to see when the fields will be ready to visit. People from all over the area, state, and further afield recognize this as one of the most anticipated events of the year

Take your time and leisurely wander through the rows and rows AND ROWS of stunning multi-colored tulips!

Another reason why the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is so popular, is because this is the largest u-pick event in New England.

Tulips are nominally priced per stem.

Choose any colors that catch your eye to create the most vibrant spring bouquet to take home.

Bring a bucket or a basket to fill.

You'll probably have a hard time choosing from the bountiful array of beautiful tulips as far as the eye can see.

Bring your camera too!

Part of the fun of this spring event is capturing photos of the fields to share on all your favorite social media sites.

You'll need a ticket to enjoy the tulip farm so be sure to get them online as soon as possible.

A limited number of admissions are sold to keep the event from being overcrowded. No long lines or traffic jams means more fun in the tulip fields.

There are different ticket price options for weekdays, weekdays after 2 p.m. and weekends, all of which include 10 u-pick tulips.

For people coming here with the family, there is a nominal cost for kids ages 5-17 (note that these do not include tulips), and kids 4 and under can visit the farm for free. And like we said earlier, additional flowers can still be purchased per stem.
